History of the Chihuahua in Iceland
The first Chihuahua's were imported to Iceland from Scandinavia in the years 1994 and 1995. There are 7 dogs that make the foundation of the breed in Iceland. The first litter in Iceland was born at Brjansstadir in the year 1995 but from that time the breed became much more prominent but mostly the last few years as the stock has grown a lot with added importation and breeding.
